Emanuela Struffolino
Since June 2024, I am Associate Professor of Economic Sociology at the University of Milan, Department of Social and Political Sciences.
I am a member of the Executive Board of the SAA-Sequence Analysis Association since 2018. I am Associate Editor of the Journal of Family Research and a member of the editorial board of Sociologia del Lavoro.
Between October 2020 and March 2021, I was guest Professor of Social Policy (W2 Vertretungsprofessur) at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Between April and September 2020, I was guest Professor of Macrosociology (W3 Vertretungsprofessur) at the Institute of Sociology at the Freie Universität Berlin .
Between 2014 to 2019 I was a postdoctoral fellow at the Swiss National Centre for Competence in Research “LIVES - Overcoming vulnerability: A life-course perspective” at the University of Lausanne, at research group “Demography and Inequality” Research Group and then at the the research unit “Skill Formation and Labor Markets” at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center.
I obtained my PhD in Sociology at the University of Milano-Bicocca.
